To want peace when you are capable of destroying your enemy is what Hinduism considers peaceful! That is power with intelligence! Not surrendering to your enemies in the name of peace!
Why have Hindus forgotten their Gita? Fight and you shall die or win, in both cases you are a winner! Donot fight and you shall be branded a coward for the rest of your days and lose the fight! Gandhi lived by Jainism which is "Nastika" or atheism! You talk of non-violence without understanding it! Do you not believe in God anymore?

Buddhism?? Cowardly??
Someone sure has his marbles misplaced !!

Hinduism is about assimilation - not about finding differences. That is why India is so rich - by absorbing the values from Muslims, Christians and all those people who atttacked us.

The Gita is about a specific situation when Arjuna lost courage after going to battle. The Gita says that when it's the time to fight - you should fight. It never says that you should fight to have an honourable life. Animals fight more than humans - are they more valorous?

Jainism is not Atheism. Do some reading.

You sincerely need to sit down and pray - before you listen to all the crap lectures of the political parties and get excited.

Which is stronger - To forgive or to fight?
Which is more pure - To take life or to save life?
Which is more intelligent - to fight for everything, or to avoid fighting??

If you have answered the above three correctly, you have understood a little bit of Buddhism.

Your "Personal" Religion is "Preaching and Practising Violence".It is why you want to portray the "Peace Loving" Religions like Hinduism ,Bhuddhism, Jainism in bad light..All the 3 Religions have many thing in common. But your "Personal" Religion has nothing in common with all the 3 Religions.Sri.Mahathma Gandhi was above all religions. The whole world accepts he is an apostle of peace..

Do you even know your professed religion? Your ego says you are lost. Hinduism is not group religion, it is very personal, almost selfish religion. Your salvation is purely up to you, you can archive moksha by your action, you can not carry anyone else.
The worldly action are for the community. You can not live by selfish action in this world of Karma. You have to decimate your accumulated karma in this world. When all your vasana are exhausted you can meditate and live in seclusion and achive your moksha.
In this world you live by the laws of the world, country, society, family elc. These laws tell you to uplift others. These laws are not in conflict with your personal goal, but are more important than your goal alone.
Ghandi got us freedom, you will get us kick in the pants. Don't try to pull down a great person, just because he is beyond your comprehension.
Don't preach before understanding the philosophy, you just show your ignorance.
The term "non violence" has a face it is Gandhi, India has face it is Gandhi, Indians have one leader they all can feel proud is Gandhi. Of course for people like you and some Godses, and RSS goons.
Shak are you an avtar of Budha's brother.
