I asked this question a month ago, but I was just wondering about a few more opinions out there on this topic. If you already saw this question last month, please just disregard it.
Just curious, are there any women today who would enjoy being taken care of by their man?
Assuming they don't have any kids ..And assuming that he's not a control freak or anything like that. ... Are there any women who like it when their live-in-boyfriend/husband takes good care of them financially so that she doesn't have to work? That way she can wake up each day and do things she likes to do with her day, and she's happy to see him when he comes home to her each day. Of course she can go out each day and do whatever she wants.
( Assuming of course that they are in love ), are there any women out there like that today, where she doesn't work because she is generously taken care of by her man?

I'm sure there is too...I'm the same I'm not one of them. Unfortunately, nowadays with the divorce rate at 50% this puts women who accept this kind of lifestyle in a very vulnerable state. Because she decided to let the man take care of her, if anything were to happen with her and her husband (50%) she now has to start from scratch. That is why many women nowadays go to school, go to college and get educated so that they can take care of themselves. In the case that their marriage does not work out, they aren't left without anything, they at least prepared themselves in life that in case that man isn't around, they can still be ok without having to start from scratch.

I have a friend who got dumped by his fiance recently. He did everything for her, shopped, did her laundry, took care of her car, fed her, etc.... He was ready to have kids and told her she could be a live at home mom for the first few years. She had it all, but seems like she got bored with the whole thing and went out to find new excitement with other guys.
I think there still may be girls out there who'd like to be taken care of, but getting very rare. People these days like to have control of their destiny and I think women feel more 'kept' than 'taken care of' in that kind of situation. I guess it depends on just how much you do for her. You can do too much.

Eh, yes and no. Of course we'd love to have someone who can support us financially, but I think the majority of women would get bored if they didn't have anything to do all day. Seriously, shopping only takes you so far. (If the couple has children, I think you'd find more women willing to stay at home and care for the kids rather than work and pay for daycare, but that wasn't part of your question.)
I'd rather us both work and pool our finances together so we can take weekend trips or long vacations to nice places that you wouldn't ordinarily see.

Yes!! There are women who still enjoy being taken care of by their man, because I'm one of them. Currently, I am having to work, because circumstances dictate that I do, but my husband has made it perfectly clear that I don't have to. He is more than willing to take care of things financially. I love that about him. As for going out and doing what I want to do. When I do stay home, what I want to do with my day is take care of him. It's give and take. I don't want to just go out and dote on myself because that's selfish. If my man is willing to take care of me, then in return, I am willing to take care of him. That's what love is all about.

There are women who would enjoy being stay at home moms - but it's very hard to find them. Personally, I get bored if I had just had to stay home... I could work part time if my fiance/husband is making good money.

i pride myself in being able to buy things for myself and not depend on other people. but honestly. when i get married and i have a kid, if we are financially stable so that he can work and would like me to stay home, i would love it. i would love to spend all day with my child & save money on babysitting. that would be awesome

On a day like today I would love for someone to take care of me..........Some days I like having my own independence......In today's world, it is hard to have 1 income.........but I think all in all, I would have to cash it all in, and let the man take care of me........I'd do his laundry, clean the house and fix his meals and he can bring home the bacon and I will spend it...........
I would need back rubs daily as well..........If he is gonna do, he better do it right........pamper and spoil me............
