when you are in the military they either provide you housing (either barracks or family housing depending on if youhave dependents) or you may be able to live off base and get BAH to help defray the costs...so you can either rent or buy and use that money towards the payments. they dont however BUY you a house. When you get out your eligible for a VA loan.but again its a loan you have to pay it back. as for cars alot of companies and dealerships offer military discounts but the miltary doesnt buy a car for you.

Yes...they pay you a monthly salary and YOU can buy whatever you want to buy with the money YOU earned.
We are not communist China, you don't get things for free like cars and houses.
The military is a job just like any other where you have to work and earn the money to buy your own car and house.
Thanks for dreaming big though.

You get a BAH and BAS which pay for housing and nutrition. each and every relies upon on your rank/fee and form of dependents. in case you're single you reside in the barracks and the government keeps the two as your cost to stay there and the nutrition you acquire.

what branch is doing that????
as far as I know the military does not buy your first house and car. you get a paycheck and can use that for house and car payments, if you wish.

you get goverment housing that you don't have to pay for. they pay you extra but take it right out for your housing. It's called BAH. As to a car,...hahaha...nah,...you gotta get that on your own. But any cars sales man would love to get you into a car if he knows your military!

Yes, and the house overlooks the ocean and you have your choice between a convertible mustang, or a Dodge Charger, as long as they are red, white or blue.
Honey, somebody is pulling your leg.

no. the military does give eligible personnel an allowance to help defray the cost of housing..but not everyone qualifies, and they certainly do not buy you a home or a car.
