Talk to him about how u think abt the matter..Tell him to wait until younger baby is 3-4 yrs else he will not be properly looked after since u may be busy with ur morning sickness etc etc di8fficulties of prgnancy..Its not rather having so mant kids that matter but bringing up them properly. If u can convince him that younger baby can't be looked into well(hez only 1yr old..still needs very much attention)..U may ahve to take him in hand..run after him with food etc tec..which at the same time is not at all good for baby in womb...tell him with all heart..Im sure he'll understnd u..good luck

You could remind him that no matter what age he is, he is always going to be a daddy..
I can understand his plight also. He probably figures you will have another boy. And daddy's love to play sports etc.. with their sons. So he probably just wants to be active enough to do that before he gets too old. Your oldest son will be in school very soon, and I think it is a reasonable request that you wait another year.. Daddy will only be 35 or 36 years "young" at that time. Remind him that age is just a number, as long as he stays a healthy and happy daddy, he will age gracefully and still be a fabulous father!

Here's what I told my husband. I'm not ready for it mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Until he knows what its like to, carry the baby for nine months, go through all the hormone and emotional roller coaster, aches and pains, and to deliver the baby maybe I'd think about it. Then I told him if he was selfish enough to put me through a pregnancy I wasn't ready for yet I DO IT FOR SURE when he agreed to be the main person to get up every single night to feed the baby, change the baby's diaper and main caregiver and financial support of me and the other children at the same time. He better kiss goodbye to goodnight sleeps, waking up late on weekends, no more watching sports uninterrupted....lol If he couldn't agree to this then he'd had to wait till I was ready to partner up with him for the next one.....lol

Maybe explain to him that his youngest son deserves time to be the baby in the family, just like his first son was for 3 years. Men are never to old to be daddies, as long as they are healthy.

Just sit by him and discuse your problem, no big deal. Let say 2 years of waiting, not 3 years, you promise !

It's funny of how easy it seems to them. But, it's your body and it needs time to heal and be prepared for another child. Just tell him like it is.

Place an aspirin tablet between knees and don't let it fall until you are ready.

You don't. You just sit down and tell your side, hear his and then double up on birth control if he still won't listen!

Tell him exactly what you told us. If he still wants to have a child, you have two choices:
1) Have the child
2) Or "keep" trying to have a child....*wink..wink*
