Correct.
Most do not have a clue but are closed minded, seared consciousness. You know when you get a bad burn the nerves are deadened, no feeling.
They are spiritually dead ones for there own protection. Because if they were to come to understanding and still follow Satan, they would be without excuse.
What did Christ say about the tares of the field.
Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

In answer to lb_centaur's dialogue -- All your finite rationale doesn't fool me. You choose to reject God because you choose to deny the truth that God has put the evidence of Himself deep within you and you choose to lock it out. Romans 1:19-20 Therefore the word found in Psalms 14:1 and 53:1 as a matter of course must apply to you.
Because I have met God and have had a daily personal relationship with him for over 33 years, I know that all
your reasoning apart from a revelation of God is utter foolishness when it denies God Himself.
To reject God from mere human intellectual understanding is totally unwise. I challenge you to challenge God to reveal Himself to you -- but from a heart that desires to know truth and not from an opinionated standpoint. God doesn't perform on cue, but He will show you how real He is if you are willing to humble yourself and confess that you don't have a grip on everything and need spiritual understanding.
The Bible says that "Pride comes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall." If you want to continue to fall that is your right and God won't take that away from you, but He is always merciful and gracious to the repentant person.

I don't know what you are reading, but I believe in the Bible, God and Jesus. I'm not sure if I am reading the question right or not. But I believe that if I take Jesus in my heart and believe, that is the only way to get to God. I want to do God's will so I can have that afterlife eternity. Everlasting life where there is no more pain and misery. God Bless each and everyone of you

That's what's called 'dismissing'. It's done in politics too. The idea is that if someone disagrees with you, then he's a 'reprobate' (religion) or a 'liberal' (politics). Therefore he has no right to an opinion. So you don't have to take what he says seriously. You 'dismiss' his view.
In other words the validity of someone's views or opinions depends on whether or not he agrees with you.
People who don't believe it's because they don't believe. Some people do, some don't. If you'd like to think it's because God chose them not to believe, or because the Devil has them in his power, or because some people are just born 'evil', well fine, but isn't that just the easy way out? Wouldn't you rather talk to them and get some kind of understanding as to why they don't believe?

I'll begin to believe when you show me one single word that "god" ever spoke or wrote .
he Talmud , the Evasta , the Bible ,the Koran , the Torah , are all the words of ordinary people . "Words of God " are right out of the superstitious imaginations of people who lived in the days when every tiny thing that went on was governed by omens , signs , chicken poop , calves livers , and all other sort of superstitions .
Intelligent people do not examine chicken droppings before deciding what they'll do that day . The "holy" book writers did .
You're absolutely right , the whole idea is nothing but foolishness . I'll end now if the poop says it's okay .

Yes I know. Why do you think I try so hard to reach so many people here.? God will remove His spirit someday and no matter how much you ask, HE WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU. HE WILL DEAL WITH YOU SO LONG AND WHEN HE KNOWS YOU WILL NOT RESPOND THEN HE'S GONE AND YOU ARE HELL BOUND. I'VE TRIED SO HARD TO REACH YOU. I spend time in prayer for you. There's been some that I really have a heart for and I pray hard for them. I just wish I had a way of knowing if I've reached anyone and helped them. But there's so many goof balls on here that I get tired of reading and probably miss some sincere people. I pray not, but I'm only one person and I do have more to do than sit here and respond to questions. If I've missed you and you wanted to hear from me I'm sorry. Please try again.

How very convenient that your holy book admits that people consider it foolish. Guess my work here is done!
For a person who cannot "comprehend the things of God", I can sure understand an awful lot of other things. Stephen Hawking too, and Carl Sagan. It's kind of amazing how many non-believers are highly intelligent. I find it difficult to reconcile that fact with the way they are described in the Bible.
So not only are we "fools", the "things of God seem as 'foolishness'" to us. I agree with the second part completely. You would think that the writes of the Bible perceived non-believers as a threat. Very astute of them. Sad that you fall for such obvious propaganda.

Jonah's Great Fish Story has such a oneliner moral:
they that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy
lying vanities? laws: all vanity according to Solomon
mercy? I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: Will of God

Yes! I have given this chapter of Romans to someone to read many times last week, because they keep questioning God's mercy and compassion. Romans 1!

Wouldn't you stop be believing before being reprobated, not the other way round. Reprobate is to be rejected by God, someone who is damned. I think you have your question backwards.

The Bible actually contains a rule that prohibits doubting it, even a tiny doubt is not allowed.
Therefore the Bible proves itself. Ain't that a hoot !
All you church folks believe in a self-proving book.
Oh and one other thing: Fairies also seem as foolishness to the world, so they must be true.
