Now are you prepared for a shocker??
IT is very lamentable that many do not know the Truth, even many professing christians; for indeed the Jehovah Witnesses had been witnessing for Jehovah.
BUT WHO IS JEHOVAH?
NOW ARE YOU PREPARED FOR A SHOCKER?? Do you want to know, how far wrong is Charlie Russell, and especially since the 1930’s when the organisation became known as…“Jehovah Witness”?
JEHOVAH IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!! NOW LET US TAKE A TOUR OF THE OLD TESTAMENT FROM ISAIAH 40-45. IT IS MOST POIGNANT, WHEN WE COME TO ISAIAH 43…..SO READ ON, MY FRIENDS………….
ISAIAH 40 (JEHOVAH IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!)
Isa 40:3 … Prepare ye the way of the LORD (Jehovah)…. is revealed in the New Testament (Matt 3:3, Mark 1;3, Luke 3:4, John 1:23) that it was John the baptist who prepared for the Lord ….who but none other than the Lord Jesus Christ, who is revealed as …..LORD (Jehovah) in Isaiah 40:3
ISAIAH 41 (JEHOVAH IS THE FIRST AND THE LAST AND IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!)
Isa 41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD (Jehovah), the first, and with the last; I am He. This Person, Jehovah is revealed in the New Testament (Rev 1:8) where the Lord Jesus Christ is…. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, ……….
ISAIAH 42 (JEHOVAH IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!)
Isa 42:6 I the LORD (Jehovah) have called thee in righteousness, and ……..To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the LORD: that is My name: and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images.
Who is this Person Jehovah, revealed in the New testament……. Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (Who???), because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
It is very obvious that the Three Persons of the Godhead is mentioned in Luke 4:18-19 (which is referring to Isaiah 61:1-2 as well); and the Person Jehovah in Isaiah 42, is identified none other than the Lord Jesus Christ, indeed the Lord Jesus Christ is Jehovah!!!
ISAIAH 43 (JEHOVAH IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!)
Isa 43:3 For I am the LORD (Jehovah) thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee…..who is this Jehovah who is the Saviour of Israel revealed in the New Testament……Gal 6:15-16 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
NOW HERE IS THE FUNNY CONTRADICTORY BIT
Isa 43:10-11 Ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD (ie Jehovah), and My servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no Saviour.
So, the JW said they are witnessing for Jehovah, but who is Jehovah? JEHOVAH IS NONE OTHER THAN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF! ! ! ! From Isaiah 40-43, we HAD ESTABLISHED that Jehovah is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, if we are prepared to learn, and our spirit teachable. The JW had been witnessing for Jehovah, who is the Lord Jesus Christ in Isaiah 43!! Let us move on…….
ISAIAH 44 (JEHOVAH IS THE FIRST AND THE LAST AND IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!)
Isa 44:6-48 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his Redeemer the LORD of hosts; I (ie the LORD, ie Jehovah) am the first, and I am the last; and beside Me there is no God…. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even My witnesses. Is there a God beside Me? yea, there is no God; I know not any….
Who is the Jehovah Witnesses witnessing for?? Of course, for Jehovah, who is the first and the last… This Person, Jehovah is revealed in the New Testament (Rev 1:8) as the Person in the Lord Jesus Christ …. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, ……….
Who is Jehovah? Jehovah is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ ! ! ! ! From Isaiah 40-44, once again we HAD ESTABLISHED that Jehovah is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
ISAIAH 45 (JEHOVAH IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!)
Isa 45:22-23 Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I (ie Jehovah) am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by Myself, the word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Who is Jehovah, that ……….. unto Me (ie Jehovah) every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear ? In the New Testament… Phil 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Rom 14:9-11 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be Lord both of the dead and living. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Proofs upon proofs, lines upon lines, precepts upon precepts....
Pride, deceitful spirits, brain washing are all part of the game of Satan to deceive the unsuspecting.
If one is prepared to learn, peradventure God may grant me grace to shew thee, the Three Persons of the Godhead from the Old Testament. You must be able to show from the Old Testament, as some may not believe in the New Testament (eg the hard core Jews).
May God have mercy to deliver many JW's from their false teachings, which is ancient unitarian, Arianism.
Balaam's A S S had spoken.

First off, Jesus is Jehovah God, the Almighty. Jesus is NOT his own Father. This heresy comes from a total misrepresentation, and misunderstanding of the Holy Trinity. In the Holy Trinity, three seperate people are one God. The Son (Jesus) is eternally begotten by the Father (That is, he is Not created but the phrase 'begotten' refers to their relationship as Father and Son). The Holy Spirit is proceeding from the Father. The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. There is not three Gods but ONE God. Jesus is the Son of the Father, and because the Father is God, Jesus is the Son of God. That doesn't mean that Jesus is his own Son, nor that the Father is his own Father. Some people might ask "How are the Three people one God?" The Simple answer is that nobody knows, as to know the exact relationship between the persons of God, would be to know the mind of God. Nobody can no the mind of God, but God himself. This is why Jesus says: "No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." (Matt. 11:27B)

The King James Version reads: “God was manifest in the flesh,” in referring to Christ Jesus.
However today, MOST translations (not just the NWT) omit any reference to “God” in this text. So why have do these other translations omit the word God, well a little bit of digging revels why--
In the Alexandrine codex (the first of the ancient Bible manuscripts made accessible to scholars) the contraction for “God,” formed by two Greek letters “ÈC,” appears originally to have read “ÏC,” the word for “who.” Obviously, this meant that Christ Jesus was not “God.”
It took more than 200 years and the discovery of other older manuscripts to confirm the rendering “who” or “which” as being correct.
When the Codex Sinaiticus ( oldest known complete copy of the Christian Greek Scriptures) was discovered it helped scholars to uncover errors that had crept into later manuscripts. For example, the reference to Jesus at 1 Timothy 3:16 The Sinaiticus reads: “He was made manifest in the flesh.”
Sinaiticus was made many years before any Greek manuscript reading “God.” So these scholars revealed that there had been a later corruption of the text, evidently introduced to support the Trinity doctrine.
So it is not something invented by JW's, Scholars etc.
Compared the Alexandrine codex with the oldest manuscript; Codex Sinaiticus, and they found the later one to be wrong and consequently the KJV incorrect in its rendering.

Some manuscripts say GOD, but not all. Whilst it is clear this passage is talking about Jesus, I would not use it to prove his divinity. However, after reading the bit about how Jesus was received up into glory, I would then turn to Luke 24:50-53 which says, "...he left them and was taken up into heaven. Then they (his disciples) worshipped him". Now, if Jesus wasn't God, then the disciples were being polytheists. Did Jesus rebuke them? No. Because he is the Son of Man. Check out Daniel 7:9-14 which is a prophesy about Jesus: 'he was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all... worshipped him.' Jesus is redeemer, saviour, judge. He is the Son of Man and the Son of God. He is Immanuel, God with us.
I do not disagree with you - Jesus was God in the flesh - but I would hesitate to use that particular verse unless I was confident I could go to the source material to prove that it said 'God was manifest in the flesh', rather than 'He was manifest in the flesh'. Do you have anything to explain why the translation you use says God? Would love to know.

Godliness does not prove Godship.
All Christians should practice godliness.
All Christians can manifest God in our lives.
All Christians have the justification of the spirit, if they manifest God in their lives.
All Christians are seen by angels,
Christianity is also being preached throughout the earth,
All Christians who go to heaven is raised up in glory.
It is just that Jesus did it perfectly.
This is why God, his God anointed him above his partners and brothers. (Heb 1:8,9)
Remember Jesus hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father. (1 Cor 15:24 Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, )
I also like 2 Tim 3:16, all Scripture is inspired and benifical for teaching and setting things straight.
Edit ----------
the orignial doesn't contain 'God' or 'he', so of the two 'HE' is the more accurate, since to add God is to place a thought that was not in the orignial.
and the the orginal word "eusebeias" means: devoutness and not godliness.
eusebeia
n_ Gen Sg f
devoutness
Who was Jesus devouted to?
His God and Father.

Amazing to see the JW answers to that one, thanks for the question.
Manifest in the flesh, and they focus on the word "he" to replace "God" in order to translate Jesus to "just a man" and thus fit their theology. Manifest. Flesh manifest in the flesh, and it makes sense to them to translate the verse that way. That takes a stretch with a hard running start.
So they confess their sins to Jesus the man, but not a Catholic priest. OK, so just who was this Jesus? Super-priest, demi-god. You'd think the writers of Scripture would make absolutely sure that Christ was defined that way. Only JWs will make a distinction like that.

Yes.
For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 7
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 2 John 9
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you. Ex. 3:14
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM. Jn. 8:58

1Timothy 3:16 tells us that JHVH God blessed His only begotten son before bringing him to earth. Hey, Jesus was already blessed with miracles from the start when his Father placed him in Mary's womb. JHVH God gave Christ Jesus the power to forgive sins, heal, and bring one back to life. That is what you call manifestation. Jesus was to portray his Father while on earth so all man may come to know his Father personally. Jesus did his work perfectly and that's why now he's rewarded sitting at the right hand of his Father and to be our King. What a wonderful accomplishment for mankind. That's why Christ Jesus is to be honored and respected with our praises for him when we mention or talk about him.

Peace be upon you
The Jesus is a humanbeing , deal as them , eat ,drink , sleep , move ,suffer,....... but , he was miracle , he as well as Adam , the God made them without fathers.
The God choosed him to be one of his prophets , and this don't mean that he is God and he never said that he is .
They say that people betrayed him and he died on the cross , Do you think the God will not be able to save himself?? isn't the God who create humans and know what happen inside their hearts , control their lifes ?? isn't the God who raise the sky without supportion and make the earth , sun ,plants move around itself ??
Do you think ,he is unable to save himself?
The Jesus as all messengers ,the God supported him with his miracles to make people believe in him but also this don't make him a god .
The God is greater than the time and the place and higher than all our characters.
The God is one , don't need partner ,wife or son .
When you say that Jesus son of the God , you then describe him that he is unable , unable to protect his son , and why has one son ,why not millions , and why the Jesus?
The Jesus will never deny that he is human and one of the God's creatures.

The word "God" is not found in the original text. Only the*copies* of the Greek Scriptures have them.
[Ὃς] - hos
who, which ,he ect.
The Greek word "hos" does not mean "God." If you talk with most Greek trinitarian scholars, they will also tell you this is NOT found in the original text.

1 Timothy 3:16 NIV,NWT,ASV,ESV similar renderings

Mistranslation. Dude, if you don't believe JW's, give up already.
Edit: I'm glad you realize nobody's pulling your ear to become a Witness, but you should also realize that we are very convinced of our beliefs and have already researched all these scriptures. There's no need to point these out to us again. Once we take in accurate knowledge, we don't want to go back to false teachings. We would never want 2 Peter 2: 22 to refer to us. Your personal research is still commendable. :)
