You need to decide which areas would most likely appeal to you then go from there!

Forensic nursing- involves working with victims, physical findings, and preservation of evidence.
(This is in U.S.) Not sure about pay- only know a few people who do it, and they make much more than the 'average' nurse.
Medical Examiner.
Pathologist.

It's not about the highest paying... You actually have to like the field and genuinely interested.
