OMG, what a heavenly side dish1 Perfume on the tongue! This was from the Christiania Inn (if it's still there) at Heavenly Valley ski resort in Lake Tahoe, California. I had it for years - and then lost it.
Oh, DESOLATION. It had millet, bulgar, and 5 other grains, a few seasonings, butter - you fixed it ahead and let it "ripen" in the 'fridge. A superb side dish with heavier, more richly-seasoned foods, or a main dish for a vegan. Went GREAT with a crisp, dry light white wine, too!
