I've been in a relationship for 6.5 yrs. I recently befriended a girl I work with and I've developed very strong feelings for her. We both have admitted that we have feelings for each other. I still feel that I love my girlfriend though. I feel like I'm being torn apart on the inside. I would be throwing all those years away, but I can't escape how I feel. I only wanted to make a new friend since I have a hard time making friends, and I now I feel like I'm falling for this girl, which was never my intention at all. I don't know what to do with these feelings.

One has to mature at some age and apparently you have not. You have a 6.5 year relationship and no commitment? Now you have someone else for whom you have feelings? No one can give you advice in a situation like this. Grow up and make up your own mind,

There is a different between loving someone and being in love with someone. You are in a very difficult situation, and I guess what you have to think about is who do you think you would be happier with. Who is the better woman? Think everything through before making any decisions. Good Luck!

Your not alone! Love sucks(excuse my lang.) but it does, screws w/ our heads, has very bad timing and causes people we love to get hurt. Makes you feel like a teen again? But as an adult we can control our actions(which blows even more-lol). Just take a step back, before doing anything. That is the only thing we can do.

if you want to stay with your girlfriend you need to inform you co-worker friend that you can't see her anymore. BUT if you feel like you have been in this relationship for a long time and want to explore the waters tell your girlfriend you need a break. It's not fair to do that to your girlfriend or your co-worker.
do it fast!

You just need to learn how to differentiate love from lust. There's a fine line between feeling something very special from someone, and simply being attracted to someone as an impulse from your emotions.

Date them both. Find out what the likes and dislikes are and what and how she is when she is mad. Then compare the two and see which is better for you, the new one or the old one.
