The tv only has a cable jack. So i want to know if i can connect the computer thru the directv satellite receiver s-video, then to the TV using cable.

Is the s-video connector on the satellite receiver an input or an output? If it's an output jack, then no, because you have no way of getting the s-video signal into the receiver. If it is an input (and I can't imagine why there would be an s-video input on a satellite receiver), you can try it.

Get an RF modulator with a S-video input and install it per the directions that come with the RF modulator.
Basically:
Sat Dish )====>(DirecTV)===>(RF Mod.)===>TV
