Mulder and Scully: Mulder escaped from prison and his death sentence, and they ran away together. The new movie is coming out of July 25th, 2008. (I'm counting the days!)
David and Gillian: They are both still acting. David has a new series, Californication, and Gillian has several projects out next year. They both have 2 kids.
The new XF film starts shooting december 10th.

David Duchovny (Fox Mulder) just made "Things we lost in the fire" with Halle Berry and Benico Del Toro.
Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) made "The Last King of Scotland" with Forest Whitaker.

in the actual plot line?? no one knows that. it's a rumer they're making a 2nd movie this summer. in real life? david (Mulder) went on to do some movies and married tia leonie (sp) and dana (scully) had some kids and is doing the family thing.
