The same thing that I thought for most of my life.

98% the same dna as us is just too big of a coincidence.

Actually the behaviour of some of those who want to deny our relationship with our primate heritage makes me feel a closer kinship with the chimps.

We already knew that they were our closest relatives. Whether you want to call them hominids or pongids doesn't matter to me.

It just shows that once again science is "changing the facts." They are disputing what they taught as "fact" for years, and will change them again in the near future.

Kind of pointless to pay much attention, as they will be changing it all again....

just another label-they seem to change on a regular basis-i cant get to excited about it-i put it up there with re-classifing what is and isnt a planet-doesnt matter- just my thoughts-smile and enjoy the day
