ZOMG!!! I hear *gasp* he also owns stock in shoe lace companies... and you know how many BOOTS are needed for troops in Iraq!?!?!?! he must be making HANDFULS of money on those dirty low down shoe laces.

Okay, enough sarcasm. See how ridiculous this posturing all sounds? by the way, this isn't a military question. It's more along the lines of economics or politics. Just because something has the word war or iraq in it doesn't mean you file it in military

There have been about 500 members of the American forces who have lost a limb from being injured in Afghanistan or Iraq. That's out of a total of about 14,000 who were wounded or injured and not returned to duty within 72 hours.

If the stock price is going up it would only make sense that there would be some liberal getting rich on that also. See that's the thing with stocks, people of all walks and backgrounds can own them. So your attempt at finding a conspiracy here is unfounded and quite frankly less than intelligent. Have a nice day.

even as Cheney honestly did not commence the conflict, I have little question that he has made some money off of it by ability of his inventory portfolio. yet I even ought to ask your self, the position do Ted Kennedy, bill and Hillary Clinton, Al and Tipper Gore, John and Theresa Kerry-Heinz, etc, etc, etc make investments their tens of millions. imagine they could have some earnings protection contractors? Does that lead them to conflict profiteers?

Yes it is bummer that more are living now than before and so people are making prosthetics.
Not like the good old days when medics and corpsman watch too many die.

You have one stick question.

Cheney grieves more than you will ever know about the deaths of young men.

Unlike those who make their injuries a politcal statement like you.
