Jesus Christ came to this earth to die for the sins of the world
He loved us and knew we could not pay the debt of that sin. He paid it willingly laying his life down. If your trusting in anything but his blood sacrifice (sacraments, baptism, rituals) you will die in those sins and pay for them in hell.

Nobody worships the Pope, except by mistake and human weakness. The Pope is in a position of authority and commands respect, like any other person in high office. People that worship the Pope have the same weakness as those that worship their rock stars, sports stars, etc.....

i don't think anyone worships the pope only jesus died for your sin and we should only worship him and have no other gods before him..however just like any other public figure he the pope has many followers and just like maybe you favorite celebrity or rock group they all seem worshipped they really do but the pope never once told you out of his mouth to worship him he does not i'm sure consider himself am idol because that is against all he represents which is jesus christ and him crucified who rose from dead the third day....consider this though if anyone does worship the pope that is on an individual basis and they will have to answer to god on judgement day for thiers sins and to idol worship is one it's against god.maybe you should warn this person.

As far as I know no one "worships" the Pope. Yes he is the head of the Catholic Church but that doesn't mean that he is worshipped.

Right! It's ridiculous to worship a man instead of Jesus Himself!
Thank God I know of exactly NO Catholics who worship the pope instead of the God he follows.

Catholics know that it would be wrong to worship the Pope, so we do not do that.

Jesus may have died too, but look - he's dead, and hasn't been on the planet for what? 1970 years or something like that? and I dont worship the pope, I have beliefs that there could be a higher power (and don't care if you call it God, Zeus and the greek pantheon, or whatever else).
