my personal favorite is watching a cop kick someone over and over in the head while they are face down on the ground while shouting "stop resisting!" over and over, LOL

so police, am i correct in my assessment that as long as you shout "stop resisting" when kicking a persons head in while they are on the ground, you can avoid accountability by claiming the person was resisting?

It is a shame what law and law enforcement have become in America. The best defense is to have a security camera in your car. Cops will LIE to your face, and to the judge, and to their buddies.
In many ways they are becoming the mafia.
Know your rights, use them, and don't be afraid to say
"you may NOT search my house/car"
"am I being detained or may I go?"

Do not be confrontational. If anything be polite, but politely firm.

Have a camera, know what the law is, and know what the cop cannot do without your permission.
Also, "I can help you" is the biggest lie they will tell you. Don't give away your rights ever.

If a persons life is in danger, a badge should no longer matter to you. If they are being abused and treated horribly, then record it and make them pay dearly for it in court and on youtube.

As for self-defense, that is a personal issue. But if I come across a person slinging children off skateboards, a badge won't matter to me. That is a child, you as an adult are responsible to protect it.

So where are these images you have of Police Officers kicking someone in the head? Oh, that's right! they exist only in your head.

So tell me, are you a left over radical from the 60's or just another wannabe that buys into your College Professor's BS that he was one?

Accountability is an intrinsic aspect of being a police officer, just as with any other public servant.

I have never seen a cop kick someone over and over in the head. You are over exaggerating.

***EDIT***
I have seen EVERY episode of cops (703) and I still haven't seen this happening.
