Is it better for us guys to say, "wanna join me for a cup of coffee" (to break the ice), or is better to just say "I would like to go on a date with you"

It doesnt matter as long as the guy has the balls to ask. Most guys are so timid that they wont even ask a girl out, and make it clear that it is a DATE that they want. I hate the "we should hang out" or "let's meet up" WTF is that? So when a girl agrees to meet up its awkward because she brought a group of friends. A date, is a date, is a date....its not each person driving their own car to watch a football game in a noisey bar....

I think it's nice when a guy just says hey would you like to go out sometime shows he feels comfortable asking me.

just walk up to her and smile and say I would love to go out with you sometime your a very pretty lady and I would like to get to know you better,
