This topic came up in one of my classes once and I was surprised at how many people claimed to have photographic memories (which seems like it might be related). I think people talk big, personally; none of their claims held up to any sort of serious testing. Normally, I don't see anything, per se. I simply grasp the concept (say, "a red sphere") gently and try not to pressure it into being anything more than the instructions I have been given. When I draw, it is like writing; I may have the basic idea of where something is going, but I am continually surprised as to how it gets there. (However, when I'm tired enough, I can hallucinate almost on-demand. I do not recommend practicing this.) On preview: My mind tries to justify "purple tiger" as a possible reality. I cobble together a universe in which such a thing could exist and then, 1984-style, tigers have never been anything besides purple. I never really see any color tiger, though I remember having seen them.

Hello

You can use NLP techniques.

When you visualise, add substance.

Visualise what you can physically feel within your imaginings, what you can smell, what you can see - do a complete turn within your visualisation - see what is all about you.

Step outside of yourself - see yourself 3rd person.

Question anything that you don't get - start to build a rapport with yourself during such times.

You can have physical sensations - that depends on the relationship that you have with your subtle energy system.
