I've just found out that my boss's youngest son was involved in a horrible car wreck last night, and is now on life support and clinically brain dead. He's in the military and stationed in Alaska, so she has to make the long, agonizing plane trick to grant permission to pull the plug and fly his body back to Atlanta for burial. He's only 21 years old and recently served in the Iraq war.

She's such a wonderful & caring person, and this tragic news is absolutely tearing me apart. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers today.

Edit: Plane TRIP...Forgive the typo, I'm a wreck today.

Man, this is just eating away at me. I recently lost 2 relatives within one week, and unlike my other coworkers, she was in my office EVERY day asking how my family's coping and offering her support. She's such a lovely person....My heart's broken.

Nolte, I've lost relatives as well and know the pain your boss and you are experiencing. I know that words are little consolation in a time such as this, but just knowing that others care enough to pray for you and cry with you can be deeply comforting.

My heart and prayers go out to you and your boss.

Absolutely. I've prayed that God will give her strength to endure this terrible tragedy; I'll also keep her in my prayers over the next few days, too.

I'm very very sorry ((((NOLTE))))
This has to be the most agonizing thing any parent would have to do. I wish I could give you and her a real hug.

I'm really sorry for her and her family. I just read this and translated to my mother, and she wanted me to send her our deepest sympathy, even if our words can't do anything to bring her any relief.
