Yes it hurts. It hurts to see violence perpetrated by our brothers and sisters, whether they are Christian or Muslim; to me it hurts the same... (I consider Muslims my brothers and sisters as well as Christians and people of all religions...)

People often like to paint a prettier picture of the past than the reality of it. We live in a world now with very serious problems, a lot of people don't want to face the truth here either. I am use to the struggle and hardship of life, so I tend to handle the truth well. That does not mean I like the way things are going. All religions could do better and open up to new spiritual ideas, and training techniques, so that we can better address the painful truth of the conditions in the world today.

Why does everyone associate true Christianity with Roman Catholicism? The Catholic church was formed because Constantine combined Christianity with Paganism, which is not true Christianity. Not all Muslims are terrorists, just the ones that actually follow the Koran. Not all Christians are terrorists just the ones that don't read the bible.

All religions have inspired war, with all its horrors.
There even was a war between Korea and Japan, with slightly different sects of Zen Buddhists on either side.
