How do we really know if god exists?

There's no proof.
How do you know if bible is made up?
No one actually saw god.

Everything which has proof today was not so easy to prove. But our scientist with grate difficulty has proved it. Just we cannot see air but it is proved that there is air and it consist of oxygen, nitrogen and soon. Till today only very few people has proved that god is there. But it is not like other thing that can be proved anytime by anybody. To prove God is there to everybody at any time our scientist are doing research, till not succeeded.
One way to realise whether God is there or not is Meditation.

There's not a shred of tangible evidence for a god, only a feeling. I think if you read any of the well-written books that have come out (The God Delusion, Breaking the Spell, etc.), you'll see that religion can be a soothing belief system, but it flies in the face of common sense and can be dangerous in the wrong hands. It's liberating to not have to believe in a silent, invisible, supernatural father-being in the sky, as explained by troglodyte sheepherders who couldn't even get their stories straight.

How can someone have made thousands of pages of a book that is believed in by people? coz God exists.

you dont know if someone saw God or not, u wernt there since the beginning of time....

in our language people say "no one saw the God but u can recognize from the things around u"..... see every thing around u comes from a factory or a there is someone behind it who made it...... so the universe in which the large things too big to imagine are having so small details as atoms, electrons..... are demanding a creator....... and the creators of such heavenly things every one with such minute details.... would be surely a Great and Almighty........ God........

That's why they call it "faith", you just believe it because you can see the effects of it all around you, in the creation of the Earth etc, like you cannot see electricity but you can see or feel it's effects.

This is rhetorical. Anyone w/ 1/2 a brain knows there isn't any god. People who "believe" in him use "blind faith" and that is their only reason for it. "Believing" by definition means to take someone else's word for it. Athiests don't take anyone's word for it.. they go out and figure it out for themselves. Fact is... when you do the research you learn for a FACT there is no god. People only "believe" in it know because of peer pressure and propoganda. Also, the average IQ of the world is around 100. Athiests average well over 120. Religious people just aren't used to thinking for themselves.

I say u god exist ,i dont know abot bible but in islam i know .Allah has made these creations for us to remember him while seeing those beautiful sky,mountains etc,.

You cannot know of God by your own wisdom. Your intelligence is insufficient to perceive God. God has no need to prove Himself to you. If He chooses to reveal Himself to you, then you will believe.

The Bible was made up -- by the Holy Spirit working through very fallible men like you and me, so yes, there are lots of contradictions and factual mistakes. That doesn't mean its message isn't true, that God made the world and sent Jesus to become one of us.

If you think you've never seen God, then I would respectfully suggest that you are looking for the wrong things.
