Hi! Welcome to the fray. Be sure you have your asbestos apron on and thick oven mitts. ;)

The answer to your question is by loving God, others and ourselves the way Jesus told us to.

As long as we are divided over dumb stuff like what name we call God and who's got the biggest faith and why other people are going to hell and how many angels can do the macarena on the head of a pin, we're going to have dissention, separation, and war.

my personal belief is there is no way to stop a religious war. If the prophecy of war was written , there will be no way to stop it.....who knows, maybe trying to prevent it may be the cause of it....

I also believe if a religious war were to occur, Muslims will initiate it....reason I say that because Muslims believe if they get killed in a jihad (holy war) they automatically go to heaven no matter what they did during life...no other religion has a belief like that nor poses threat to convert others. Begging for a religious war would be in their favor

First, it is important to understand that although people are taught that we have a 'free will' - we do not. We have freedom of choice, but that is not free will.

If I had free will, I would like to fly through the sky, so would many other people I talk to. But, there are forces at work which oppose my will.

This is a single example of why the will is not free, another is:

Why does God not heal amputees? - and there is a whole web site dedicated to 'proving' that God does not exist because those who claim to be his representatives can 'heal' the sense of taste (!!!!!!!) but not re-generate a lost limb.

We WANT TO HEAL AMPUTEES, but there is a hidden force preventing us from doing so.

Our will is in prison to the selfish ego and is therefore restricted by its limitations.

We do however have a choice, but only within the confines of our consciousness (which can awaken) - we can only choose that which we are aware of exists as a choice.

Wars are caused because people are slaves to their own ignorance and this ignorance is a 'force' (formerly called the 'forces of darkness') which lives within these people - while creating the illusion that they have 'free will.

The end of wars comes through those who awaken and begin to see through the deceptions created by the selfish ego, satan.

In the original initiation to Christian mysteries - the first question asked of a Neophyte was:

Do you reject satan?

Now, before you can reject something, anything, you have to have a concrete idea of exactly what it is you are rejecting.

In this case, 'satan' represents the 'selfish ego' the limitations of the senses (I see therefore I know, seeing is believing, etc).

To overcome 'the satanic consciousness, 'satan'' - one must identify its works in consciousness and begin to eliminate them.

To stop wars, we first need to eliminate the greed that perpetuates them. In the time it has taken you to read this short essay, more money has changed hands to perpetuate wars than anyone could physically count in 5 lifetimes!!!

This is the crux of the matter, people 'say' they 'worship' God, but they do not, they worship money and their 'money god' gives them the rewards of their hearts; war, rape, taxes, and death.

When those who think they are leaders wake up they shall beat their swirds into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks.

They shall do this voluntarily when they realise that all wars are a form of suicide - and we have reached that age where death is no longer a certainty.

We will never really stop them until Jesus comes back.

We are to tell the TRUTH in love as best we can and let the chips fall where they may. God is the judge and he will sort it all out. Remember though that things aren't always what they seem. And we all live and learn and change and grow.

The truth will set you free, but first you have to find it. If telling the truth means warning people to change paths because you don't want them to go to hell....then that is what you have to say....no matter what the consequences or how others see it.

By allowing kids in the USA and UK to take a religion class that will cover all world wide religions and allow religious students like Muslims and Jews to pray their prayers on time. The first step to understanding something is to first learn about it in a positive way through education and understanding. Not allowing teachers to promote one religion in favor of all others by saying people of this certain religion are going to Heaven and everyone else is burning in Hell.

conflict might want to be justified for even if causes. someone will continuously have a difficulty with it. The question that could want to be replied is 'Is it nicely worth it?' human beings have each properly to guard their society. i do not believe faith in any respect, yet i'd not want a conflict with those that are non secular because it isn't in any respect nicely worth it. they'll save believing in what they position self belief in and that i appreciate them for that. It takes generations to regulate such issues as that.

We are in a battle with the powers and principalities of darkness. This battle often manifests itself in our world. We are peacemakers by sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a dark world. We plant the seeds that may free many from their bondage to sin and disbelief.

We cannot win nor prevent this conflict...we cannot even save our own souls. But Christ can and will win it, as described in Revelation 19-20. Jesus Christ also has the power to save our souls from Hell, by placing our faith in Him as Lord.

Secularism. Politicians will not talk about any religion and people in any religious institute will not talk about politics.
