I get those boxes with separators in them. I make sandwich wraps. make sandwiches with buns or rolls as oppose to just plain ole bread. I make muffins and other various pastries. I make home made lunchables. cut veggies with some dip. I have boxes that have one section for the dip and one for the veggies(kinda cool). had all the kids pick out their lunch kits. always serve a fresh fruit.

Buy a small thermos and put soup (chicken noodle or beef-veggie - be sure to buy low sodium) in it or left-over whole-wheat pasta w. sauce or organic whole wheat mac and cheese

Whole fruit vs. fruit juice - drink should always be water

Make a yogurt smoothie (plain yogurt; berries, 1/2 bananna) and put it in the thermos. Add peanut butter and crackers.

Cheese stick; whole-wheat crackers and a small no-sugar-added applesauce plus some baby carrots or cherry tomatoes

Be sure to read labels - look out for corn syrup and hydrogenated fats

You could do hummus w. baby carrots and put in some whole wheat pita and some fruit

My son also likes cucumber sticks w. some fat-free ranch to dip it in.

You could also send a low-fat cheese whole-wheat quesadilla - maybe put on some left over sliced chicken. Put in some salsa for dipping (and some carrots, too, to sip in the salsa)

Other easy healthy foods: edamame; raisins; dry cereal

Not to be rude, but why does it have to be attractive? Most kids don't care how attractive the food is. Generally I pack celery and or cukes with dip or stuffed with low fat cream cheese. My daughter doesn't like peanut butter. She also doesn't like cold sandwiches so I pack a thermous of leftover pasta in sauce or tomato soup and crackers. Also a juice box. A piece of fruit. And some type of snack. Right now she's into Nilla wafers, they have a low fat version. For a while she was into teddy grahams and I would send them.
