Im toattly for it. It isn't killing babies why would you want to bring a baby into this world that the person obviously cant take care of or isnt ready for. If no one had abortions and everyone just neglected there babies, or put them in adoption think of how ****** up the kids would be when they grow up. Not saying adoption isbad, cause its not.

I agree with you completely..most of these people just dont understand. It's not even a baby when you are allowed to abort it.

Not being ready isn't an excuse and if you don't have the means to take care of it, better yourself. It is killing a baby, if you are not ready for the possibility of having a child then you are not ready to have sex. Come on, those children don't asked to be conceived they are products of what adults have done. That's why no one is willing to stand up and take responsibility when they've done something wrong, because society tells them "It's okay, here's a way out". This is why God intended for sex in marriage ONLY, this is why so many children are messed up because no one is telling them the truth. We say "Go, do what you want there's no consequences". On judgement day we all will have to stand before God, whether you believe in God or not, and give an account for our actions and every child that has been aborted will be there.

Such a sensitive topic to talk about! I think that a woman has the right to choose whether or not to have an abortion especially if she can't provide for that child. But I can see it both ways and it's hard for me to choose, I think they need to limit abortion more, a single mom with 3 or 4 kids should have a chance to get an abortion, but if she has already had one or two abortions then she shouldn't because she isn't learning from her mistakes.

It depends what the situation is to be honest. Personally i would never have an abortion because i don't think i could live with myself if i did it. However there are some women who just aren't meant to be mothers. Sometimes its an accident but what i wonder often is why if these people are so incapable to look after babies then why don't they take more care in protecting themselves against pregnancy. i.e using contraception. Who ever explained that the abortion rate in america was so high because one in four women are raped. Thats absolute rubbish so this person wants us to believe that at least ten percent of the american population are raped.

I'm pro choice for those extreme cases...12-13 year old girls or rape victims or so many others...I'm just not for the regular unprotected sex accidents.
I had one long long long time ago but I still remember it all like it was yesterday. I would not recommend it to any woman. I realize not all woman are affected by it the way I probably was. I learned my lesson ,too late. The way I see it was my mistake to put myself in that position not my childs. I was young scared and reacted cowardly. Now I realize I was the only person in this world that could stand up for my baby and at the moment I was to selfish and all I could think of was me...
We are so scared to struggle and put ourselves in this little box that wont allow us to see the big picture. We forget there are humans that have to live to see their children die of hunger. Then there's blind, mute and deaf people that have to deal with real problems day to day. What about soldiers that loose limbs at war so that a stupid young woman will be careless enough to have unprotected sex and then practice her right to kill a child because of her irresponsible actions. Worse part there are girls that don't learn and continue have multiple abortions. Why can't we just grow up, own up to our mistakes and confront them with dignity. We are so worried about ruining our future or not struggling that we forget to value life and the miracle of it.

i am totally against abortions. your talking about kids that get drunk one night and dont use protection and thats why they aren't ready but if you make the choice to go have sex suffer the consequences. but do anything but KILL it. it is killing it has life. there are people wanting to have kids and cant and look at the ones that kill them and think if i could only have the kid they are throwing away. what if you have an abortion and then years down the road you cant have kids and then think back well i could have one if i didn't kill it back when i was young and stupid. i am 18 and 12 weeks pregnant no it was not planned but i made the choice and i am gonna own up to it. whether it was in your plan or not a child is a miracle and god would not bless you with one unless he knew you could take care of it. i am against killing a life especially since its my own.

I think abortion is distasteful. But then I think all meat is distasteful. Ground up human meat is particularly so since I empathize with humans a bit more than I do with hamburger.

I think sex without a concern for the consequences (without responsibility) is wrong and such people should be fixed. We fix pets out of humanitarian reasons, I should think fixing people would even be stronger humanitarian reasons. Unwanted pets is sad enough, unwanted children is monumentally worse.

From a moral standpoint, euthanizing animals is worse than fixing them. After all, killing is worse than cutting off procreation (or am I wrong?).

Isn't it strange that we find euthanizing fetuses more acceptable than sterilizing irresponsible prospective parents?

We basically find killing more acceptable than fixing.

Abortion has been practiced since the dawn of time and isn't about to stop now. It's up to the individual woman to decide regarding a pregnancy. All those who prattle on about adoption fail to admit that the numbers of infants needing adoption, were that to be made mandatory, is overwhelming. Even today, there are thousands of children awaiting adoption who'll spend all their childhood years in foster homes or institutions and never will be adopted. You meet them all the time. They grow up to become Senators and Congressmen. They become police officers and physicians and long-haul truckers and airline mechanics. They become pop stars and musicians, poets and sculptors. And some of them become career criminals. And far too many take their own lives out of dispair.
Complicated, isn't it?

Well I have mixed views, which have changed slightly since becoming a mum myself. I have one many years ago. I never regretted it but always regretted putting myself in a position where I had to do it. However, I do not agree with late abortions and think the time limit should be much lower than it currently is. Its a very hard decision to make but should not be allowed after 8 weeks.

Personally I would never get an abortion unless medically necessary. But, when the mother is on drugs, drinking, underage, unable to care for the baby when its born, or even keep her body healthy while the baby is in her, its probably a good idea. Its a personal choice.
