Behe's testimony wasn't so bad, given the topic. However, it did clearly show the lack of intellectual rigor in the intelligent design concept. When it was pointed out to him, on the stand, that astrology met his definition of science, he agreed but countered that it had been discredited. What he didn't catch was the implication that so had intelligent design and that astrology and intelligent design were on par with one another.

Behe is a qualified biologist, but he allows his faith to cloud his judgment.
