. But did you know, YOU have a choice of whether or not Scholastic is in your school? There are many good Children’s book clubs out there other than Scholastic that they can be replaced with. Groups that offer books that are entertaining, loved by children and at the same time do not advocate such twisted views of parents and God as does the Golden Compass series, better know as “his dark materials” That name in itself should have been a warning sign to those who care for their children. If this is what Scholastic wishes to promote, that’s their choice, but so is who I give my money to, that will say a lot, are they in it for the children or just to make a quick buck. My guess is the latter. It is up to YOU the parent to clean house. Are you going to do your part?
