I was at my nephews place the other day.
He is only 3 and he was wearing shorts - no shirt.
My husband and I said, "So, your not wearing a shirt - you must be hot?"
To which he replied,
"Well, at least I'm not naked!" and then he continued to say the word,
"naked" over and over again.
IMO I thought it was a big word for a little boy.
Suppose I am making a big fuss about nothing, or do you think he's just very intelligent?
thanks!

No, I don't think it's a big word. Kids use words that they hear. My 4 year old refers to a computer screen as a "moniter" and says "Microprocceser" and he knows that it's part of what makes a computer work and has since at least three years of age. (Now, he is a very smart little boy - and I am sure your nephew is as well) but kids pick up what their parents say - that's why using "baby talk" is such a bad thing to do with kids.

James Bond is the ideal concept ever! i like it. i will could attempt and communicate considered one of my 5 little men into being 007 this 365 days. my 2 oldest are going as Superman and Clark Kent. the two have been truly uncomplicated to do. Superman costumes are a dime a dozen and Clark Kent became into truly in ordinary terms a church suit and 2 glasses with the lenses popped out. infantrymen are exciting and uncomplicated to do. it is not perplexing to discover camo outfits for little boys, a minimum of not in my area. i've got additionally seen some truly attractive Lego costumes the place the baby is a lego piece. a mummy or a zombie if he's something like my middle son he could opt for to circulate as a pirate. A soccer/baseball/soccer/ different athlete may well be something she'd evaluate for her son.

I mean it's good that he's talking and I'm not trying to say your nephew isn't very intelligent but it's not that big of a word. My son is almost two and when we get him ready for a bath he'll say 'get naked' over and over again.

no, it's not a big word. He's probably just likes the sound of the word and is having fun saying it or more likely, he has learned the meaning of the word and having fun getting a reaction out of people. And yes, he does sound intelligent.

Oh the joy his parents will have when they teach him the proper names for private body parts. ;)

Our two year uses words such as uncomfortable and antsy so yes I am sure your boy is intelligent but that word is not so big.
