You can buy bottles of ready-made mulled wine in your supermarket, which requires you to just heat it up. You can also buy special mulled wine spices to add to yuor own wines.
However, if you want a cheap and easy mulled wine recipe, here's the one that I use. It's from the BBC website.
1 bottle red wine
60g/ demerara sugar
1 cinnamon stick
grated nutmeg
1 orange, halved
1 dried bay leaf
Instructions
1. Put the wine in a saucepan with the orange, sugar, bayleaf and the spices.
2. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved. Taste to see if you want the wine sweeter, and add more sugar to taste.
3. Off the heat and strain into heatproof glasses and serve at once.

do you live in england? if u do pop to tesco and get their mulled wine sachets...theyre like a teabag with all the spices you need.....lovely bottle of red wine.....again tescos! they do a lovely french organic wine for under 4 pound, brandy and orange juice, couple of oranges sliced and chucked in is a nice touch to.....put it all in a big pot, and just gently warm it through, too much heat and you'll burn away the alcohol.....and then drink to hearts content.....the exact measurements for the brandy and orange juice are on the back of the mulled wine sachet box.....Merry Christmas :) XXX
