See now heres the thing. I am asking a real question. Why are these people so damn pissed off. Look at most of the answers on here. A bunch of people pissed off over something so stupid. Look at South Park, they will KILL JESUS in a cartoon but you dont even see all of the Jesus freaks out there tripping out over it. I believe in God but will not want someone dead if they differ in beliefs. You might say I am this and I am that behind your computer screens, but the majority of you people just pretty much suck because you think you have all the answers to make yourselves sound like you are better. If I were to ask " oh my god what color shirt should I wear to work today" I would get better answers then a serious question like the one I posted. Take a Xanax and call me in the morning.

She did not take the time to learn about Islam, the culture of the people of the Sudan, the laws of that nation, etc.
Whether deliberately or inadvertently, she insulted the religion of the majority of the persons in the Sudan and, thereby, insulted the people of the Sduan as well.
Both she and her school are to blame. She should have learend about the people and country prior to moving there and the school at which she was teaching should have offerd sensitivity training to all of its foreign staff so to have avoided an incident such as the one that did occur.
She has also been granted a full pardon by the Sudanese government.
Insha'Allah, it is never wise nor a demonstartion of ones knowledge to make such errant statements that proves one lack of familiarity with the beliefs of others and current event.
Insha'Allah, one can easily see that the reaction of most "Christians" would be if a non-Christian came into their nation so as to teach their children and then insulted them and their religious beliefs.
Thinking is not a "bad thing". That is why you have been gifted witha brain. It is wise to use your head for something more than a hat rack!

There would be upset over naming a teddy bear Jesus(pbuh) as well, from the Muslim world Jesus(pbuh) was a great prophet of Allah. All prophets of God deserve the same respect.
