This is a Very interesting question. I am a licensed Optician, although I have been out on disability for the last year and the optical industry changes rapidly, and I have NEVER heard of these TV glasses. In my opinion, they would cause you to have a more severe case of the symptoms identical to "Computer Vision Syndrome" the longer you wore them. That would be dry red eyes from not blinking enough and eye strain, headaches, blurry vision, and eventually myopia ( decreased near vision). Just like when using a computer, one should take breaks from looking at the screen about every 15 minutes to rest the eyes, always remember to BLINK to keep the corneas moist, and make sure your eyes are corrected as close to 20/20 as possible ( have an eye exam and wear glasses calculated to your prescription for computer use, if correction is necessary) These TV glasses throw a whole new spectrum into the picture, where contact lenses would be the only alternative if one needed vision correction. And I would definitely not wear them for long periods of time. How long have they been on the market? I will have to ask my former colleagues about this. Until then ~be careful-you can go blind doing that ! I'll get back to you if I find out info on this.

You can improve your eyesight by simply learning, naturally and practicing the correct way to see for a few small minutes a day.
You can check this method based on a scientific researches :

http://improvevision.toptips.org

if glasses are worn continuously over time the poor vision will generally become worse. Essentially what glasses do is lock the eyes into their refractive state and in order to see through your lenses you have to maintain the poor vision that the lenses are designed to correct.
"Restore my vision” program you'll be taken by the hand, it shows you how to improve your vision naturally, permanent and complete solution.
Even the American Optometric Association has been forced to admit these things!
I'm sure that you will not regret your decision

Most people who buy these TV glasses sell them on again within a few weeks.

This is because they cause nausea and blinding headaches. Not a recommend product...
