It truly depends on who did the naming. Through history we have seen that not all people intents are truly straightforward. For example,,before the great play writer Tirso de Molina died his only request was not to have a statute of himself erected, because for ever more the pigeons were going to poop on him. So, it depends on who did the naming and why!,,hope I answered your question,, :o)

I think it would be an honor for a teddybear to be named after me if someone thought of naming it after a person then they must think highly of that person so I think it would be a very nice thing too do,that just my opinion

WWMT? What would mohammed think? There's the rub. The ones that are irate about it think they know. Hell of a presumption if you ask me. Humorless people are always lacking in perspective.

Exactly.

But the muslim extremists allow themselves to be whipped (no pun intended) into a frenzy by anything their Mullah or Imam tells them is outrageous.

I'm thinking of the scene from Monty Python's Life of Brian, where Brian says, "You've got to learn to think for yourselves." and the crowd answers in unison, "Yes, we've all got to learn to think for ourselves."

Brian says, "You're all different," and the crowd answers in one voice, "Yes, we are all different."

Then...after a slight pause, a lone voice says, "I'm not."

it depends,
for example if my bf named a teddy bear with my name,
if he truly care and treasure that bear,
then i will feel good about it,
but to name it just to insult is MEAN ONE!
