That doesn't make Qur'an any special when compared to other religious books I've read.

I just want to make a point about "Islam" to avoid confusion: What one Muslim says is not automatically the "Gospel" truth for all Muslims.
It doesn't matter to me (as an atheist) whether Adam was a giant and it probably can be taken or left by Muslims as truth, but if your reference is the one Hadith in your link and you don't have any others, the person (Abu Hurayra) who said that Muhammad said that in that Hadith was widely regarded, even by other companions of the Prophet, as not necessarily a very reliable witness, so the Islamic jury should still be out on anything he said about what Muhammad said.
One of the early Islamic traditions was to seek the truth and long may Muslims continue to do so (if they insist on theism).

If I remember right a cubit is measured from your elbow to the tip of your fingers. That would make Adam approximately 90 feet tall. Idoubt it The bible says God created Adam and it is commonly believed by bible scholars that Adam measured about 12 feet tall.

And in Genesis, it says that he lived to be 930 years old.
You can make up pretty much whatever you want in fairy tales.
Personally, I think he shot laser beams from his eyes.

Dude, Muslims don't believe that Human beings back then were as the same size as us. There are fossils to prove that. Have you looked at the skeletons they found somewhere in the middle east. Damn huge they are! Google it up. Some sort of evolution u might say have taken place.
