This question, Sir, has both, a mathematical answer as well as a philosophical one. The mathematical answer, viz. (a+b)
(a-b)= a2-b2, is the more straightforward, and hence easy to understand. It is the philosophical one, however, that needs to be dilated upon. Well, to every positive element , or person, ( 'a', in our case ), there is a corresponding negative element, or person, corresponding to the description 'b'. These two, working in tandem, will never yield positive results. The moral of the story is therefore to restrict all contact with such elements to the barest minimum if one has to retain one's sanity and positive outlook.
