For my graduation my friends and me are doing a musical and its set in the sixties. I've looked everywhere but i cant find a good place showing good hairdoes and it tells me how to do it. If you could help me out that would be great as its only a day away!! Thanks.

Remember, this was an era of protest and change. Everything we did was extreme! Yes! I was there!

The very extravagant styles from dougs initial photo was common for preppies and socialites but we protesters were either long, straight and scraggly or curly/frizzy (either natural or permed), wild and scraggly.

Be sure to wear wild polyester print clothing. Paisley's were my favorite. Oh, and your generation didn't invent torn grungy jeans - we did!

Depends on if you are doing pre-Beatles or post-Beatle era hair styles!
Early 60s were different than mid to late 60s

Go for a Beehive; (best if you have shoulder length hair or longer the better.)
Back combe it, and sweep it up into a beehive shape, pin it using clips and use loads of hairspray for the finish.

look at Beatles footage and look at their fans' hairstyles, that might help you get started.
look up other icons of the 60's, like JFK, MLK, and seek out popular bands of that era because their fans will have the latest hairstyles.
