I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I live and breath him!
The word says whoever believes in Jesus christ as Lord and saviour and live his ways will live for eternity with him in heaven.

I don't.
That is why I try to be a good and fair person in all my dealings.
God exists, but I don't expect him to just save me because I believe in him (or whatever form he takes).
That sort of arrogance is exactly what we have been warned against.

I knew that I had been "saved" when my entire life changed. Everything I thought was so important became...well...NOT important.
Any doubts I had in God or Jesus Christ are gone. I still doubt the Bible, but I think that's okay.
A year ago, it was like the scales fell from my eyes. For the first time in my life, I could see clearly. I knew which things in my life had to go, and things I needed to avoid.
Above all, since I gave my life to Jesus Christ, I WANT to do God's will. It isn't that I have to, but I want to.
It's great! :-)

Before i converted to christian, i believed that my religion was the best. i belittled and insulted other religions.
now....Holy Spirit has changed my life. everyday i wanna praise him, no day without reading bible. if you ask how do i know i am saved? Because it is written in the bible, "This is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." (John 17:3).
Jesus himself said, "For God so loved the world , that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16). I believe in Jesus as my savior and Lord.

Many are not. Abram was called of God in Gen 12 (cf Heb 11:8-10) but it was not until years later that he was saved in Gen 15:6.
603550 male Israelites (above the age of 20) came out of Egypt, wandered for 40yrs; yet the vast majority were not saved as only TWO in the first generation went into the Promised Land. Many are called, few chosen.
So too, was in John 6. Vast majority did not follow and walked no more with the Lord.
So, too in this Laodicean epoch, just prior to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, where many of us here are confident that we are His, but in the end our true states are unrepentant.....knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent (Rev 3:17b-19).
We thus have a situation, as warned but not heeded.... Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy Name? and in Thy Name have cast out devils? and in Thy Name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity (Matt 7:21-23). Many here today knew Christ, but Christ had never known us. Verily, verily.....when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth (Luke 18:8b)?
Indeed, may God grant us true saving faith.

The one characteristic in my life that assures me of my salvation is peace. This peace that I possess is not found in this world. It can only come from one who is outside this world. Therefore, I know that I am saved and when my life is done, I will spend eternity in the place that God has prepared for me. I have no continuing city here but seek the one that is to come.

Once a person is saved, is he always saved?
Jude 5, RS: “I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.” (Italics added.)
Matt. 24:13, RS: “He who endures to the end will be saved.” (So a person’s final salvation is not determined at the moment that he begins to put faith in Jesus.)
Phil. 2:12, RS: “As you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (This was addressed to “the saints,” or holy ones, at Philippi, as stated in Philippians 1:1. Paul urged them not to be overly confident but to realize that their final salvation was not yet assured.)
Heb. 10:26, 27, RS: “If we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries.” (Thus the Bible does not go along with the idea that no matter what sins a person may commit after he is “saved” he will not lose his salvation. It encourages faithfulness. See also Hebrews 6:4-6, where it is shown that even a person anointed with holy spirit can lose his hope of salvation.)
Is anything more than faith needed in order to gain salvation?
Eph. 2:8, 9, RS: “By grace [“undeserved kindness,” NW] you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God—not because of works, lest any man should boast.” (The entire provision for salvation is an expression of God’s undeserved kindness. There is no way that a descendant of Adam can gain salvation on his own, no matter how noble his works are. Salvation is a gift from God given to those who put faith in the sin-atoning value of the sacrifice of his Son.)
Heb. 5:9, RS: “He [Jesus] became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.” (Italics added.) (Does this conflict with the statement that Christians are “saved through faith”? Not at all. Obedience simply demonstrates that their faith is genuine.)
Jas. 2:14, 26, RS: “What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him? For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead.” (A person does not earn salvation by his works. But anyone who has genuine faith will have works to go with it—works of obedience to the commands of God and Christ, works that demonstrate his faith and love. Without such works, his faith is dead.)
Acts 16:30, 31, RS: “‘Men, what must I do to be saved?’ And they [Paul and Silas] said, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.’” (If that man and his household truly believed, would they not act in harmony with their belief? Certainly.)

I believe in the Effectual Calling, which lets me know that I am saved and there is nothing I can do to change that fact. (It also lets me know that you are unsaved and, likewise, there is nothing you can do to change that fact.)

Because Jesus promised it to those who believe in Him and walk with Him, because I see the change in my life, because I see Him working in my life and because I have seen Him do miracles in my life and the lives of my children. He says that when something is true you will always have a testamony of at least two witnesses. For me I have about 4.
