, he learned that if he reported someone suspicious they would (lost prevention) focus there attention on that person, and send the undercover on duty around him to, and focus cameras and all on him. so he reported a person to them, while at the same time told his friend to go and steel something from the other side of the store. is this manipulating or smart?

You're better off him. He's not a good friend to hang with, bad influence and all that. In time, he will be caught and what if you were with him at that instant? You may not have done anything wrong but the fact that you were with him makes you an accomplice. For now you may think him smart to be able to think of an idea that will steer the police towards another guy while he and his friend go stealing. But however smart he is, the wheels of justice always catch the bad guy. Think of this carefully. If you want a worry-free life, get out before it's too late.

It's called theft. If you want to be with a theif, then hang on to him, but is that really the kind of life you want? It's not smart because he is being an idiot and stealing from the store he works at...great way to lose your job there, and make it hard to get a new one. Manipulation? No, THEFT! Drop him like a bad habit!

Thats just wrong, the man is a thief plain and simple! Just because he sent his friend to do the dirty work doesn't mean he isn't just a guilty. Imagine if he does that kind of crap to coworkers, what he could do to you. Probably the type of person to cheat and then accuse you of doing so.

Sounds like a d*#&.
I mean, did he have any reasoning for it?
I would not put myself in a vulnerable position with someone capable of exploiting another's trust like that.
Wow.
Disgusting.

The "him" that you like, could be a fabrication for all you know, after *that* rumor.
Can you trust the validity of this story/rumor??
Who was it from [that can make such a huge difference]

So yeah. If it's true...I'd suggest keeping him at an arms length...O_o

You know what they say:
"With friends like that, who needs enemies?"

He's a small time thief that will get caught and time spent in jail is stupid. Not all people are on the floor that watch for petty thieves.

Well, Tim it seems that your man is a bit deceptive and he has sticky fingers too. Are you sure that this is the type of man you want in your life, Tim?

This is the behavior of a low-life scum. If you think what he did is okay, then you're no better than he is.
