The problem with the word "blame" is its association with guilt under a higher order of morality. The question you have posed presents a real dilemma for a nontheist. If there is no God, then there is no "morality in the sky," and if no universal morality, then the concept of "blame" dissolves to nothingness. There must be a God in order for there to be blame. Yet if there is a God, to what higher order of moral code can He be held than Himself? Reasonably, there is no such code to which God is responsible. Otherwise, if something is higher than Him, he is not God. Therefore, while we may be upset by the blemishes on human existence, if we are nontheists, there is no God to blame, and if we are theists, there is no moral basis for casting blame at God, because there is no higher court of appeal. In the fullness of time, His every act, our every joy and heartache, will all fit perfectly into the eternal tapestry He is weaving, and it will all come to a greater good than was possible any other way.

I think people just lash out at something when they cannot deal with it and alot of the time God is the one they blame.
They lose a loved one to a bomb or to a shooting and before thinking to themselves that it was another human that did this sick and twisted event in there lives they blame God for not interveaning.
If people are blaming God maybe the person they should be blaming is Satan for he is the manipulater of our minds and makes us do things that we know are wrong. So maybe next time if something bad happens maybe curse Satan instead of our creator.
He may have created everything but it is us humans that are destroying it not him.
It`s like the saying guns don`t kill people, people kill people.
I believe we are in the end of days right now personally just by the way we as a human collective blame the creator for all of our crap.
Find God and God Bless.

I wouldn't call it 'hypocritical'. Naive, perhaps.
It isn't so much that God created everything as it is that God permits people to exercise their free will, even if that exercise leads to atrocities. While I'm hesitant to use the word "blame" there, I'd have to agree with the basic idea.

I hate them. i'm a preacher's daughter and my dad change into like that. To be thoroughly trustworthy, because of him and distinctive the personal subject matters his hypocritical and judgemental nature had on me, for a lengthy time period, i puzzled God becuase each thing my dad suggested and did change into contradictory. i'm nonetheless coping with no matter if i'm a Christian or no longer, yet nonetheless, i'm not in any respect about to judge different religions. i have studied about them especially and that i do not see the point in judging them. in accordance to Christianity, God gave us loose will and we've the right to apply it. we've the right to envision to have self belief what we want. I agree. "Christians" like that are stressful and solid an exceedingly adverse user-friendly on Christianity.

I think the question was a good one. Why blame God?
(I really don't think you believe that he created everything, so why do you care? If you DO believe that he is the creator, doesn't it make sense for you to get to know him?)

God created an environment in which we all have choice.
We can choose to love our neighbor or hate them. We can choose to kill or choose to be friends.
How can we blame God for our choices?
I am not overly religious but I do believe that I have choice and further that the choices I make have consequences, so if I know the risks and still choose to do something "bad", how is that God's fault?

If you can't blame God, who knew exactly how everything would be for ever and always, for what 'he' started then who is to blame?
Yes, God created free will, AND EVIL. He knew people would choose to be evil, and so gets the blame. Just like parents now go to jail when their children commit crimes. Really.
And if God can't handle it, then that ain't God.

If there is a god then he should get blamed for everything because not only did he create everything but everything that happens is supposed to be according to his great plan. So there you go....god is responsible for murder, rape, child abuse and all suffering in the world.....and then he will send us to hell where we will suffer for eternity if we don't believe in him or follow his rules......but he loves us all.

I feel like smashing your little toe with a big hammer. But since god created me, it's his fault. Then again, if you're upset, take it up with him, as he's already forgiven me.

People feel good putting the blame on someone else but they do not want to know that God will hold everyone accountable for what they have done and why they ran away from the truth
