Way too many factors to consider. Whatever statistic you come up with, there will always be drivers that don't fall within statistical parameters.

There are drivers that can have three or more "accidents" in a year. Even if NONE of them are determined to be his fault, his insurance rates will, likely, go up. Anyone who has that kind of trouble AVOIDING collisions SHOULD be paying more.

On the othe hand, the last time I had a fender bender, it was BEFORE the Raiders moved FROM Oakland TO Los Angeles. (I remember, because I was on the way to a Monday night game, in stop and go traffic, when I broke the tail light of an off-duty cop while changing lanes)

What are the odds of hitting a cop's car within one year?

FOR FIST TIME DRIVERS, PRETTY GOOD.

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death among 15- to 20-year olds. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, 3,490 drivers in this age group died in motor vehicle crashes in 2006 and an additional 272,000 were injured.

Drivers age 15- to 20-years old accounted for 12.9 percent of all the drivers involved in fatal crashes and 16 percent of all the drivers involved in police-reported crashes. Twenty-five percent of teen drivers killed were intoxicated.

FOR EXPERIENCED DRIVERS A LITTLE BETTER.

In fact, the risk of being involved in a fatal crash for teens is three times greater than for drivers with 3 to 7 years of experience.

it depends. if you are driving, you never know what might happen. maybe someone else crashes into you. There are higher chances to have an accident than to not have one.
