Im sick of hearing people rant on and on why the war is bad and why we need to bring our troops home. Im sick of hearing that our troops are killing innocent people and laughing about it. I think the only people who have to right to oppose the war or troops even are the soliders themselve. The ones that have been over there and seen what the enemy is capable of first hand. Us sitting here in our safe houses dont really know what its like over there...so I ask
Does anyone out there support the troops?
Does anyone out there support the war?
Does anyone out there not hate Bush?

I Support every person in uniform. I am a disabled vet.
I support the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. I support our President for the reason that he is who he says he is.

I Agree with you about the folks here in the states who have never known what the price of Freedom really is. Its a sad and shameful thing.

From what I can tell, everyone supports the troops. They are doing a wonderful job.

What does that mean does anyone support the war? Who are we fighting? How do we know if we win or if we lose?
Our original reason for being over there was because Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Ok, so we've searched everywhere but the moon and can't find any. We are sacrificing the lives of our young men, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. Terrorism? That term is used so generically I don't think even Bush knows what it is anymore. You can't fight and defeat an enemy you can't see. From what I can tell the reason we are over there is because of oil. Bush doesn't know what to do anymore so he plans on handing his problem over to the next poor sap. Let's face it, Bush has just made an awful lot of bad decisions.

I don't hate Bush, but I don't like him either. I think that where our country is concerned, for the most part his heart is in the right place. I just happen to think that the job is a bit more than he is capable of handling. I mean, think about it. He cuts taxes (don't be fooled, it's for the wealthy, not you or me) and then takes a government surplus and turns it into a trillion dollar deficit. He mishandled Katrina. He seems to lose another cabinet member every other week. He wanted to ruin social security. No one has any thing good to say about his "no child left behind" act. He vetoes the s-chip program. He vetoes the stem-cell research program which could have done marvelous things for cancer research etc. He refused to believe for a long time that there was global warming, and finally, when was the last time you saw a cartoon series satirizing a President? In many circles he is being called the worst president ever, and although a part of me feels sorry for him, I can't dispute the statistics or the moral majority.

I dislike Bush, but I don't hate him, but then i've had contempt for every president since and including Jimmy Carter, so Bush is no different.

Most Americans support the troops, at least, when you ask them, or when they are running for political office. But few actually 'show' their support. It's more of a half-assed 'spiritual support', and honestly, the troops deserve better than that.

Though I actually have been 'over there', if in a non-combatant way.

There is a difference between supporting Bush, supporting the troops, and supporting the war. Seems like you're confusing the issue.

I support the troops, 100%. The reason we went to war in Iraq, for Saddam's WMD's fell through, so I'm not sure on that. The reason we bombed Afghanistan, because of 9/11, I support 100%. I totally hate Bush, he's a hippocrate, a coward and a draft dodger. At least Bush, Sr. served.

Nice to hear someone say it like it is.... I do support our troops, sincerely. I DID support the war, however, do not feel it has been properly managed AT ALL. I do not hate President Bush, nor I have "hated" any of our leaders dedicated to public service. I on your side!

I support the troops
Iraq needed to be invaded. Ever since 91 Saddam has been screwing around with the weapons inspectors not letting them into certain buildings. If he did not have any WMD's he should have cooperated. He had plenty of time to move them out of the country. Saddam also moved his troops back down on the Kuwaiti boarder like he was going to invade again. Don't screw with the U.S.
I don't hate Bush either.

Thank you! I asked this question too a while ago, and got a ton of **** answers that i didnt want. People just dont know, i hate it when people try to talk about the war like they know whats going on and then you ask them what they do and then they say like a waiter or whatever. I am in Afghanistan right now, and have seen too many people die or getting hurt. Its not all fun and games over here, and people think that we arent doing any good. We are over here training the Afghan and Iraq troops to defend thweir own country, and they in return are keeping the al qada out of our air fields and bases. I dont believe that this war is all Bush's fault, the Sept 11 attacks were going to happen no matter who our president is, and as for those who say that clinton had osama and he could have prevented it, the al qada and taliban are not just one person, so even if you catch one person, there are others. Every president has done good and bad, Ide like to see those who say that Bush is a bad president, sit in his seat. Thanks for all your support, its nice to know that there are some people who care and support us for what we are doin.

definite. this is observed as Divine Laziness, and Ignorant layout. Ignorant layout comes into it even as human beings answer a thoroughly diverse question to what change into requested, or opt to rant instead of answering. an exquisite celebration I once had change right into a decrease'n'paste that crammed the web page, yet did not answer the question in any respect. i have also had some those who thoroughly overlook concerning the question itself, and basically say stuff like 'I agree'. ok, you compromise. straightforward sufficient, now might want to you want to inform me your answer at any time? Divine Laziness is the different large non secular reason for no longer reading. It takes this way of a question format (i will scouse borrow your celebration): Q: Why do not Xs ever look to tolerate Ys? QD: i do not in my opinion imagine there is many Xs who dislike Ys, this is only a small minority who tend to be somewhat rude and disgusting of their attitudes. A case of the noisiest few, to be able to communicate. what's your opinion in this? A: we are no longer ALL like that!!! end being so judgemental!! ummmm.....examine IT next TIME!!!! lol. ((((hugs))))
