Whenever you are faced with a decision, do you ever stop and think.. What would Jesus do? Like the infamous saying says..

I try sooooo hard to but sometimes i forget, you know? But imma try to start doing it as much as i can..

i mean just think how much better of people we would be if we stopped and did that for the decisions we make?

Like you, I have difficulty remembering the injunction to 'do good continually.' I believe Jesus Christ wants us to imitate him to the best of our abilities. For he truly did go about 'doing good continually.' Christ said, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12.)

"For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you." (John 13:15.)

"...Therefore, what manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say unto you, even as I am." (3 Nephi 27:27.)

"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17.)

Well , moon.

It wouldn't hurt to remember Yeshua (Jesus) when we are faced with tough decisions. But in the end we know and G-d knows we are fallible. Israel constantly forgot about G-d, and it continued to the Talmidim(apostles) right before Yeshua was turned over to the Parushim (Pharisees) , and it continues today with everyday people who believe in G-d. Were human, and cannot help but err.

But don't get bunched up over it! At the time of your greatest need of G-d's favor I'm sure you'll remember. And you will make the correct decision.

I don't know if this will help you but listen to this teaching. It may help you. I was listening to it last Sabbath and it's about our failings as men and it talks about the failings of even the forefathers of Israel.

I hope it helps if not, *shrugs* sorry. But you are right if we could do it more , we would be better off.

Well, since I'm agnostic it's a little hard to have any guiding form in my life, but when I am faced with a decision I often like to think of what my role models might do.

It's not the same, I know, but imagining what the people I look up to might do is similar enough to it, right?

Best of luck on improving yourself - it's never a bad thing!

I have a bracelet with "WWBD?" -- What would Buddha do?

I don't think it matters which spiritual leader or deity you try to emulate. They all have some really good qualities.

And so do we, much of the time. So if we remain true to the part of our own nature which is rational and kind, we would do just as well. This way, we won't be trying to be someone we're not, either.

Yes, I stop and think what Jesus would do, or whether God would approve of it. A lot of times I dont have to do this though because I know ahead of time whether its right or wrong because the Bible contains an answer and I may have read it before.

No. But I do have my own version of that. I call it, "What look would she have." in reference to what look my Goddess would have on her face after seeing me do... whatever I'm doing.

I try to avoid the actions connected to the menacing glares... and proverbial 2x4s to the back of the head. And we all forget once in a while what our Gods have tried to teach us. Hence thier need for the 2x4.

Don't be an idiot.... What Jesus would do is wait for his writer to jot down the next few verses of the story. Jesus is a book character; not a living god. LOL

If you're looking for a roll model, try choosing someone out of modern history; and this time, pick someone who actually exists.

As for me... "No" I don't think about what Jesus would do - are you surprised.? I think for myself.

It's not about what Jesus would do, it about what's the right thing to do. That's all it comes to and it is often bittersweet but better in the long run.

I think we are in control of our lives. and it is up to us to make the decisions.

Personally, I got with the gut feeling, and what feels right at the time. Not what someone else might do, because there is only one way to learn
