You would have to be a U.S. Citizen. And I would guess that you would have to get a security clearance.

Email me though, I am wanting to learn Arabic to become a cryptologist. Have a few books. Would really like some help.

Language Training also takes place at an Airforce base in Texas, not just Monterey. That is where the second part of Arabic training takes place.

DLI students in Monterey California are taught by Native Speakers. That is the ONLY place language training happens, for all Branches.

Citizenship is required to instruct there, however.

Check with the dept of defense. There maybe a way to do it..as a civilian employed by the Dept of Defense.

Check with the US Post office, maybe they an give you a local contact. Good luck.
