If I read the Quran in Arabic, does every word rhyme? I've heard some people read the Quran, it sounds like they r singing. It sounds poetic. Is it poetic in form?

Quran is extremely pleasant and melodious to listen to. But it does not conform to any of the known poetical order of Arabic or any other language. You can neirther call it Poem nor prose. Quran is just Quran.

Dear Stealing Yes really Qur'an is very poeitic in form although Muhammad pbuh was not a poet. The contents of Qur'an are 6.236 verses of 114 surah or sub titles divided in to 30 chapters.Muhammad pbuh could not write a poem.
The verses of Qur'an had been written by God and then delivered to Muhammad pbuh verse by verse through Gabriel angel.in 22 years,2 months and 22 days in Mecca and Medi
na,Saudi Arabia.Muhammad could learn by heart fluently and he instructed his loyal close friends to write on the palm leaves, bones, stones and hides. His close friend Abu Bakar Sidik collected it and the other close friend Umar Bin Chattab
arranged it sistematically.
Allmost every words rhyme such as the last surah (114) An Naas Humans)can be read like this (1):Qul audhu birobin naas(2)Malikki naas (3)illaihi naas (4)minsyaril wash washil honaas
(5)aladzi yu wash wishu fisudhuri naas (6)minal jinnati wanaas.
Reading the Qur'an should be in the right intonation. It is a special study for it.Reading the Qur'an is not a singing..Arabic
language a single word has many meanings in line with into
nation and its relation to other words.

Thats not singing. Its caleed Qirrat. Thats the proper way to read it. Its extremely beautiful to listen and makes a direct impact if you listen attentively Even if you dont understand it.
Thats the beauty of the Quran. Science proves that Quran is the only book that has been written in a way that it actually impacts the reader and soothes the ears.
Singing the Quran is a sin. It is not allowed...

And no every word does not rhyme.

yes, this is the beauty of the quran...learning to read the arabic quran in certain 'tones' is a skill...people with powerful lungs usually recite very beautifully with practice...it's not singing, but reciting the quran with good vocal chords and ofcourse the ability to read in arabic would ensure a smooth, beautiful recital. ofcourse i don't read arabic, so i'm stuck with the english version for now.

Time when Qura'n revealed Arabs were at peak in linguistic art, therefore God Almighty revealed Qura'n in best of linguistic art and people of that time were astonished to see Qura'n. It is miracle it self a person who never learn from worldly institution came with such a linguistic art, showing clearly Qura'n is from The God Almighty.
