If your girl friend is a US citizen she can petition for you to receive a fiancee visa. If she is a permanent resident of the US she can petition a spouse and child only. If you get married before she leaves, she can petition you if she has a green card.

Merely asking this question is not enough, please provide further details,

1) Your Nationality.
2) Your GF's Nationality.
3) Her income status in California.
4) Your location (if not the country of citizenship).

She probably can only sponsor you if she is a permanent resident in USA.

i am guessing by your question that neither of you are usa citizens? if that is true then No she cannot get you a fiance visa. ONLY citizens can get a visa for thier fiance and even then it is a lot of forms and time.

Request yor girlfriend to send you a letter inviting you to come to America for marriage and use this to apply for a fiancee visa. The process will take about six months due to verification of documents and the relationship if genuine.
