Is it in the front? On the bottom? Right or left side?

Top of the transmission under the airfilter and intake tube. Nissan gets 2.0 hours to change out a starter. If your car has ABS brakes you might as well bite the bullett and get a really good Nissan Remanufactured starter and have Nissan install it approx $350 out the door. I have seen aftermarket starters fail, catch on fire and damage flywheels.

Drivers side,you get to it from on top.
