just to clarify...I never said I follow this believe or believe the bible or christianity....I'm questioning some of the beliefs...and if you say they are exempt because they didnt know....then why are we penalized for knowing? If we know, then we cant behave like heathens and carry on, we are penalized for knowing.

Like Islam, Christianity claims to have exclusive rights to Heaven.

I don't believe that.

You are 100% mistaken about the Native Indians. Sorry you believe some fairy tales dreamed up in white mans history books. You should talk to Natives for the real story.

Did you know the Eastern Native Indian languages mimic Ancient Hebrew and were formed in a matter of days?

Did you realize the Shawnee are easily shown to be the lost tribe of Dan?

Did you know there is proof among the American settlers and the Mormons that the American Indians are actually multiple lost tribes from Israel?

Did you know there are keystones found among Native Indians dating back prior to any whites or Spanish coming here that have the Great Spirits name engraved on them, YHWH (YeHoWaH in Native Tongue, YaHWeH in english)

Did you know the Indian mounds in Ohio and all the way down into Georgia tell the same store as the book of Genesis in the Bible?

Pagan? False Gods? Sorry you believe made up stories about your fellow brothers.

First of all, 'Christianity', invented in mideivel Europe, was riddled with pagan rituals and beliefs. The Christianity that dominated most of Europe was not the same faith that the apostles of Jesus followed. The Jews rejected Martin Luther's reformation plan. Nobody was more well versed in the scriptures than the Jews, as Jews authored the Bible. The ancient masoretic texts, (LXX, Septuagint) were the scriptures that Jesus and the apostles used. Europeans used a Bible authorized by King James that was riddled with errors. (that is why you must study using concordances and using the Septuagint to gain a better understanding of scriptures). To answer your question, God reveals Himself through His creation (Romans 1:20) So man, whether getting exposure to 'Christianity' or not, are made aware that SOMETHING created them. They may not know His name, but they knew He was there. Some may have gone to hell, but not all. Going to heaven or hell is based whether you reject God or not. Not necesarily how much you knew about Him.

Well, I am a Christian, and I say no. They did not. For one thing, the American Indians, their religious beliefs, the context under which they lived, and their circumstances were much more complex and diverse than what you provide us with here. For another, numerous theologians over the centuries have reasoned that Christianity was not a necessity for salvation for people who existed prior to its existence, or even this very day if they have had no significant exposure to it. As usual, another irreligious person perpetuating stereotypes. You're not better than the religious fanatics you are trying to get at with this lame question.

No. Native Americans are created by God, who loves them. If the early Native Americans were ignorant of God, they could not reject Him, which is the cause of separation from Him.

If anything, many early Native Americans sensed God's presence in nature, perhaps more powerfully than most Christians sense God in their lives, even if the Native American did not recognize God, as the God of Jesus Christ. Their genuine reverence for God through nature in some ways made them as close, if not closer to God, than the relationship some Christians have with God.

I've had this question myself. The answer I received from a person of the Christian faith was that if one does not know of the teachings of that religion they are not held accountable for that. They never had a chance to accept that and they will not go to "Hell."

well, each tribe had their own set of teaching myths, rituals and cultural religions so one might assume that the souls of Native Americans went where ever their traditions taught them to expect to go. in any case, there must have been a big influx of souls into those Native American afterlife destinations once the white Christians moved in and decimated the tribes with disease and slaughter.

Christan's THINK that everyone that does not accept JC will go to hell. That includes the 1000's of years prior to JC and anyone who has never heard of him afterwords. So billions and billions and billions of peoples from all different cultures and civilizations will be doomed. Now that really makes sense doesn't it?

Everyone has had a system of belief and practice that dictates morality. Each individual is responsible for living up to that moral code. God is the judge.
