YES YES YES, This can be done a little hard work doesn't hurt either. There is a safe way to do this and it's not a diet or a crazy exercise program. I lost 70 lbs in 2 months! 94lbs in 3 months. Mind you I was 400lbs to start. Now I weigh 245 and I started March 07. You know that results will vary depending on your will and other factors you may only need to lose the 30 lbs but will you be adding mucle on are you sure it is thirty lbs you need to lose? I lost 30# in 3 mo, doing yoga, bicycling and eating vegitarian. Very easy to diet when food is so low in calories, and boring.
Lots of yoga and cardio exercise will keep you loosing wieght without getting weak.
Drink lots of water. That is a big key, to flush your system well.
And expect to have some strange things happen, like rashes and fevers and....it can be wierd.
But I didn't have any problems because I wasn't trying. I just ate lots of grains and fresh veggies and stayed on the yoga mat close to 2 hours a day.
What it depends on is how much you need to loose to get to a weight your body is comfortable with. Just because your head says you should weight 30 lbs less doesn't mean your body will agree.
But listen these other people. sustained losses can be a problem if you go too far. Loosing the weight may be easy, but staying healthy is another thing, and more important I would think.

30 lbs in 60 days is 2 pounds a day, and you might be able to lose 15 in 30, but it'll slow, and I don't see it happening
