Vit. K is used to help clot blood, if you are on cumadin you are trying to thin your blood, they are opposites. You may want to take vit E though, it is a natural blood cleaner. Garlic, Cheyenne pepper also is good for cleaning out the blood.

Nope. Vitamin K is used to REVERSE the effect of Coumadin. It should only be used for this purpose by medical professionals and only if the Coumadin level is high. The reason for this is that if the Coumadin is over-reversed by the vitamin K, it can subsequently be difficult to get the Coumadin level back up to where it should be.

No. Coumadin is a blood thinner. Vitamin K is used when your blood is too thin. I'm sure you get your levels checked routinely while on Coumadin. When your INR level is slightly above what your range should be, the doctor will have you hold your medication. However, if your INR is very high, Vitamin K is used to get your INR back to where it needs to be.
