Just to give you a better picture, we're both 16. I was always good friends with her. But I always felt like I had to hide the fact that I drink or smoke or anything that had to do with that sort of stuff. I always thought she was a good girl, and that she would think differently of me. About a week ago I found out that she drank, and all of the sudden that changed everything. Like that small little fact changed my whole view of her. Now I talk to her every single day online and I tell her everything. And I've never actually told her I loved her (family love folks, nothing weird) until after she told me that. But for some reason I feel uneasy. I don't know if maybe I'm just mad at myself for letting something so small as whether you drink or not affect our relationship for the last few years. Or maybe I'm just so overwhelmed with the transition between distant relative to close friend. Can someone help me with my confusion??

I have talked to her about it. And I know I should be glad, but I'm very mad or uneasy about something and I don't know what. Maybe the sudden affection happened way too fast. I mean, she's the only person i can talk to about some issues except for my best friends. And please no answers about anything with incest. That's just weird. I don't like her like that.

No offense but this could be either a really good thing or a really bad thing. I'm thinking bad because this means that smoking and drinking has become a huge part of your life so big that people who don't can't penetrate into your social circle. I don't drink at all myself but it's Okay to do so just don't let it consume your life.

If your family isn't really sentimental and saying I love you a lot, it may feel weird. Also, you guys are older and it seems strange to say I love you to another 16 year old girl, especially since you guys have had a friendly relationship before, but weren't that close. Do your best friends say I love you to you? Most likely it's just that. Or you may be concerned with the fact that since she is family, she may tell another family member about drinking and smoking? If you thought she was a total good girl, it may feel weird that suddenly she's a different person than you thought she was.

No, you may no longer. do no longer snort, notwithstanding it particularly is okay to this factor a cousin--legally and biologically--counting on how a ways down the familial line he's. I dated a cousin, and he or she improve right into a blast, yet we found out that we cherished being acquaintances extra applicable and we nevertheless are! clarify it to him the way my cousin defined it to me: "i for my area love you, and you're exciting, yet i think of we would be extra applicable acquaintances and cousins than boyfriend and lady buddy." I have been given it and we nevertheless bypass fishing, cycling, gaming ... and sneak the occasional kiss! you may no longer experience undesirable at excited approximately rejecting your cousin, and while you're actually not sending 'blended alerts', and he's a sturdy infant, he gets it. If he would not, it particularly is HIS undertaking, no longer yours.
