My family sucks too. Very selfish and uncaring. My life began when I turned 17 and moved out and went to college. I made so many friends, and they became my "family." Then I got a boyfriend, and now I consider myself one of the lucky ones bec he loves me so much; I am not unlucky anymore. Just get away from your family and make your own life. My sadness evaporated on the day I moved out of that house and into the dorm!!
I grew up too soon too; I was not exactly a carefree kid, at all; but now I see that as my greatest blessing bec I am extremely empathic, compassionate, and understanding as a direct result of that. I was never a selfish, immature brat like so many kids who grow up with a super-easy life and don't know what pain is... and now I am a full-grown adult that has a wise and loving soul; people comment about it all the time... Your path is like mine... spiritually it is a great blessing... someday you will see that... :)

i feel so bad for you,you seem like a nice young lady. you are NOT alone. i am saying this from experience . i think you should look into finding another counselor. do you have cousins,a grammie, have you tried talking to your mom?? do you get enough sleep, eat well. maybe you could try volunteering at a hospital or nursing home.alot of the older folks dont have anyone to visit them, its the time of year to do that, and i can guarantee you will feel great about yourself good luck i wish you the best..

See depression treatments, at http://www.ezy-build.net. (.net.nz/~shaneris) in section 2 (use the core treatments, and possibly a herbal remedy), and loneliness, in section 9. Visit your school counselor. Consider volunteering, as shown in sections 47, and 38; which will help with the loneliness.

You have to learn when to just say "f*** it". Your dad and your brother are self-centered jerks? F*** it. If they don't care about you, why care about them? Your mom ignores you? F*** it. She'll regret it later when she gets old and is stuck in some cut-rate nursing home and neither you or that self-centered brother of yours goes to visit. You feel like you annoy your family? F*** it. It sounds like they annoy you too. So you're even. You feel like you have lost your childhood and youthful innocence? F*** it. Join the club, sweetheart.

first of I think your feeling is very normal. I would ask how old are you. If your in your teens then I would first off, think about your self and your happiness. Who cares about what other people feel. When you die, you will die alone. No one else, will share your faith. Life only sucks if you let it suck, as in letting other people action affect you.

Quit caring for others if they don't care about YOU. Drive yourself to succeed in life, only you can do this. If you need to talk with people make friends and socialize.

I won't join you in your misery but I will tell you how you can transcend it.
Which is simply to stop resisting it.
