When non-believers (or anybody) say MY religion (Christian) isnt real or true and talks bad, they think its ok? But when I say what they believe is wrong, they get mad? I dont care if you think my religion is false. I can say the same about your's. When I ask a question about MY religion, please dont come along and make fun of me. That is rude, and hurtful. And the information you give me about how MY religion is false, is also not very nice. I am a growing child (13 years of age) and I do not appreciate when you come along and try and teach me otherwise. So please learn to keep your opinion about my religion to yourself, unless its asked for.

I understand that. But they like to leave snarky little answers. Would you like ME to bash your religion?

1. Please dont call me honey.
2. I know more than you could imagine.
3. I know the "real world". I know what goes on, and the creeps out there. But what you dont understand is the question. The question is WHY do people think its right to bash other's religions, but get offended when people bash their's? I have not bashed ANYBODY's religion in this question. I said I could have. But I didnt.

Oh, so you LIKE picking on little kids? You like making them feel bad? Listen: I dont care about how cute you think you sound, or how things work in your little world. Nobody held a gun to your head and said you had to be an immature jerk.

as a Non-Believer who tries to be polite - just brush it off. People get hot under the collars when talking about beliefs, their own and others.
You have a remarkable vocabulary for a 13 year old in these days. Nice grammar structure, no mis-spelled words, adult sentence usage of words, interesting.
Especially the threat at the end. Very adult-like

Yes, there's a few very harsh feedback coming from the JW camp. It can also be determined of their literature and in addition right here on R&S. Hadenough: Matthew 18:15 says that, "...in case your brother commits a sin, pass lay naked his fault among you and him on my own." That is a "complete" reality that Jesus awarded to us. But then the Watchtower provides this... "The reporting of wrongdoing is an act of specific main issue for the perpetrator..." (Watchtower, August fifteenth, 1997, web page 30 "Why Report What Is Bad?") So we began with Jesus' complete reality, further a member of the Writing Committee's reality, and now our Lord's contribution is viewed to be a HALF reality! HOWEVER ... ask your self if divine reality that's diluted with the critiques of guys will have to fairly be considered as a "part reality." But wait ... it will get even greater! Destructive brain manipulate can also be understood in phrases of 4 fundamental add-ons, which style the acronym BITE: a million. Behavior Control two. Information Control three. Thought Control four. Emotional Control "Reporting" the sins of others falls into all 4 of those classes. JWs maintain their BEHAVIOR in line considering they realize that whatever might be uncovered via any person at any time. The management has manipulate over stated INFORMATION which is able to and shall be used towards individuals who turn out to be uncooperative. If you're intended to document the whole thing, then there is not any must use your possess THOUGHTS in identifying what will have to be discovered and what can keep personal. Last however now not least, the consistent worry of being stated is a style of EMOTIONAL manipulate. Now, Hadenough, might be you notice why the Society thinks it's so main to "document what's unhealthy" although Jesus informed us to clear up sin making use of the least quantity of brothers and sisters as feasible. Does it even topic what he thinks? Or can we must get the Faithful Slave's stamp of approval first? This isn't known as "distortion." This is known as studying your Bible with out consulting Watchtower research aids that let you know what you're intended to feel. If you do that, you can also uncover a few matters that you simply did not realize had been there OR, might be, you are going to view the ancient knowledge with "new" eyes.

If you are thirteen, you are still growing emotionally as well as physically and intellectually. Your guidance has come, first, from your parents and/or family setting. That is your paradigm of existence.
You have ventured here into a format that is not comfort-zone related. People say what they think.
If your religion is the one I think it is, it has a history of being quite blunt as well. You may have been protected from that aspect of your religion, but it is there.
Some religions have a long history of saying that everyone else's is wrong except theirs. Certain publishers have capitalized on sensationalistic articles that show "false" religions as charicatures of animals used in the Bible as symbols of evil.
Is your religion one of those?
Let the one without sin case the first stone.
Think about it... once that stone is cast, you are no longer innocent.

You are only 13 right now. As you get older, you will find that it gets worse about people not respecting your belief. But you must continue in the faith, and allow God to give you the inner strength you need to ignore the trash. You know what you believe and why. Sometimes others will make fun or put you down. But don't let it bother you, Jesus was persecuted more then we could ever be. You know your religion is not false, so don't let what others say matter. They have to answer for them selves just as we do. God Bless you.

I think, for your age you are very strong.
Yes, i can relate to this. I was once in a very strong faith and i believed in it with my heart and soul. My prime objective was to be a missionary. I did everything to the ultimate capacity and while i found many in my faith could be a little wishy-washy, i WAS not.
I preached my faith at school, and was bullied for it. I went on to do the same at work, i was then left out. I did not care because at the end of the day, i was doing what i knew god wanted me to do.
Jesus put up with a whole lot more persecution did he not? I am afraid it is one of those things you are simply going to have to learn to contend with if you are in it for the right reasons.
Stay strong. You sound to me like you are very confident that you are doing the right thing and well done to you!!

Well, in a way, you just asked for my opinion.
I really have no gripe with you for HAVING a religion. I simply don't care. If it comforts you, great. Have at it. On an intellectual level, I hope you'd at least be open to the idea of questioning it (a lot!), but I'm not going to mess with you. I'm an atheist, but I'm willing to be proven wrong. Are you?
On the other hand, if you start trying to codify your religion as law, you'd better believe I have a problem, and I'll stand up and do my best to make sure it doesn't happen. Your religion is your business. Your religion is NOT my business.

It is unfortunate if people make cruel or rude personal comments about the religion you love. People often feel that they need to share their beliefs in return as if to help someone else find their way in what worked for them. Maybe it's just their pride to prove who is 'right'. Just don't take their points to heart. This is all about human nature seeing things differently.

I noticed that too. It's probably because of their own ignorance, that they feel the need to put out their own frustration over their own beliefs on others. People are always prideful of their own beliefs and that can get carried away when they feel "threatened" by others.

girl,I'm 13 too,I'm Muslim (and no,I'm no terrorist.) and people think Christianity is wrong because they have faith in they're religion,as do i ,but if that's what you believe its whats you believe in,but i personally don't like it when people assume every Muslim is a terrorist like the ones that you see in Iraq. we are actually supposed to be very peaceful people, but there's a hell raiser in every religion isn't it?

You need to follow your own path and stick to what you believe in...don't worry about the haters in here- They are of no consequence to your life and future.
I get caught up in it too sometimes when people insult my religion but in the end...all you can do is pray that the ignorant ones will grow a brain someday and move on LOL
