In my opinion: Death is more motivating than life. Because death is the land in which no traveler returns. Or something like that. You can both live for a cause and die for a cause. Although personally, I would rather live for one. Death might be more motivating than life, but it shouldn't inspire you, because you would then live in fear. And being immortal for a limited time contradicts the definition of immortal, so no, we are not immortal for a limited time.
